Why do some people finally make their dreams happen while others keep waiting?
Your goal or dream doesn’t need a better plan. It needs a path.
The Path Method is the most powerful way to turn goals into reality.
The Path Method is changing lives…
You don’t have a problem with clarity, motivation or will-power.
You just need science on your side.
You just need science on your side.
In Mindful Life Design Lab, you pick a project and bring it to the Lab.
Then we use psychology, neuroscience, and mindfulness to turn that…
book,
project,
new job,
new business,
health goal…
into lived reality.
What kind of dream will you bring to the Mindful Life Design Lab?
No matter where you are starting, you don’t have to walk the path alone. Choose the topic below that feels most like you and discover how The Path Method can help you begin moving forward.

If you’re an artist, musician, photographer, or creative, you’ll find the encouragement, accountability, and momentum to keep making the work that matters most to you
I have a dream I have been putting off
If there’s a dream you’ve been carrying for years, but fear, self-doubt, or busyness keeps getting in the way, we’ll help you stop waiting for the perfect moment and begin creating it.
If you’re starting a business
If you’re building a business but feel overwhelmed by all the marketing advice, we’ll help you find clarity, take the next right step, and grow your business one meaningful action at a time.
If you’re a writer
If you’re a writer, but your book keeps getting pushed to “someday,” Life Design Lab helps you quiet the overwhelm, create a simple daily writing habit, and finally make steady progress.
If you want to improve your health
If your goal is better health, we’ll help you create small daily habits that actually stick—because lasting change happens one mindful step at a time.
If you’re feeling stuck
If you’ve been feeling stuck, uncertain, or like life has drifted off course, Life Design Lab helps you reconnect with what matters and begin moving forward again—without pressure or perfection
Big transformations rarely happen through willpower, pressure, or perfect plans.
They happen when we learn how to take small, meaningful steps toward what matters most.
That’s the foundation of the Mindful Life Design Lab.
You only need a dream worth exploring and a willingness to take the next step.

Yes! In fact, we encourage it. As soon as you enroll, you’ll receive immediate access to the Welcome Portal with three short videos and a guided workbook to help you choose your path,
begin your Daily Touch practice, and learn the Notice, Name, Relax, Release (NNRR) technique.
By the time our live sessions begin in September, you’ll already have momentum, greater clarity, and a strong foundation to build on.
-
Life happens! Every live session is recorded, so you can watch it at your convenience.
You’ll still receive the teaching, exercises, and encouragement, and you can continue making progress with your Daily Touch practice.
In fact, some participants intentionally choose the recorded version of the program because it better fits their schedule.
The recorded option also includes two private one-on-one sessions with your guide to help you personalize the process and keep moving forward. Remember, this isn’t about perfection—it’s about gently staying on the path.
-
Almost anything that would make your life feel more meaningful or fulfilling.
Participants have brought dreams like writing a book, starting a business, changing careers, improving their health, strengthening relationships, learning a language, creating an art project, preparing for retirement, organizing their home, and even planning an adventure they’ve always wanted to take.
The project doesn’t have to be big—it simply needs to matter to you.
Together, we’ll use neuroscience, psychology, mindfulness, and the power of small daily actions to help you bring your project to life and turn your dream into lived reality.
-
The results have been as unique as the people themselves.
Two participants completed the first draft of a book they had dreamed of writing for years.
A hard rock musician who wanted to perform overseas found an agent and is now booked for a six-city tour of Japan.
A Harvard-trained physician fulfilled a lifelong dream of performing stand-up comedy and now regularly performs in both English and Spanish.
One artist created a beautiful legacy project for her estranged children. Another participant completed a marathon.
One person, after being laid off, started a business—and was later hired full-time by her largest private client.
A massage therapist who began with no clients now serves about 50 clients each month.
While every person’s journey is different, one thing has remained remarkably consistent: when people choose a meaningful path and take small, consistent Daily Touches, extraordinary things begin to happen.
The Path Method works because it helps turn dreams into lived reality.
-
Because lasting change isn’t just about knowing what to do—it’s about understanding how people actually create change.
Psychology helps us understand habits, motivation, and behavior.
Neuroscience shows us how the brain builds new pathways through small, repeated actions.
Mindfulness helps us quiet self-doubt, work skillfully with emotions, and stay connected to what matters most.
Together, these three approaches create a gentle, evidence-informed path for turning meaningful dreams into lived reality.
-
To create a supportive, interactive experience, each Mindful Life Design Lab is limited to approximately 25 participants.
Keeping the group small gives everyone the opportunity to be seen, encouraged, and celebrated while learning from one another.
Because enrollment is limited, Labs often fill before the start date. If registration is open, we encourage you to reserve your place early. If the current Lab is full, you’re welcome to join the waiting list and we’ll let you know as soon as the next cohort opens.
-
Every project unfolds at its own pace. Some participants accomplish their goal within three months, while many choose to continue for another three-month Lab to build on their momentum.
Once you’ve been part of Mindful Life Design Lab, you’ll receive priority registration for future cohorts before enrollment opens to the public.
Whether you continue or graduate, you’ll leave with far more than progress on a single project.
You’ll have a practical, evidence-informed process you can use again and again to bring future dreams to life. You’ll know how to create momentum through small daily actions, navigate obstacles with greater confidence, and design your life with intention—long after the Lab is over.
About Your Guide: Dr. Rebecca Kochenderfer
My work is deeply personal. I was born into poverty and spent the first nine years of my life living in the projects. When my parents died just two weeks apart, I was taken in by my aunt and uncle. It was a Cinderella-like experience. Overnight I went from living with cockroaches and eating chicken necks for dinner, to having lamb chops and avocado salad with homemade ranch dressing. I had new clothes for the first time in my life. And for the first time in my life, I was loved and cared for. One day I asked my aunt why her life was so different than her brother’s (my father’s). She said to me, “Honey, you are the designer of your life.” That little sentence changed everything. Although we may not choose our starting point, we can shape our life into something that brings us meaning and joy.
My PhD research has given me a deep understanding of neuroscience and automatic-thought patterns, but I am not an academic. I am a practitioner and a guide who provides tools, language, and space for people to reclaim their agency and design their life from the inside out.
